Sown in a Time of Shelter

Sown in a Time of Shelter was published earlier this year in Two Thirds North, Stockholm University’s journal of transnational literarature – eds Adnan Mahmutvić, Maria Freij and Paul Schreiber. In his foreward, Schreiber writes: “A few of our writers allude to the many and specific crises in the world, but many focus on the conflicts, survival and hopes of people in their daily lives.” I do both.

Together with Eva Söderholm, we put poetry and stitchwork together for this workshop with the Concreate crew at STPLN and that’s where I read Sown in a Time of Shelter.
