A last-minute plan took me to Glasgow where I was back at my old uni for the first time since I left. The story here has a chequered history. It was accepted twice within days. I accepted the first offer. The second acceptance came from Amsterdam Review, but I managed to get them to take another story. Then I waited for a year or so, and realised that the first journal had gone under. After that came four rejections, but I am fond of this story, about a woman that takes a microwave on a camping trip instead of a tent, so you can imagine my joy when I heard it has a home at From Glasgow To Saturn.
